Dr Jothi Murugesan is an Australian-trained General and Colorectal Surgeon with a special interest in minimally invasive and functional colorectal surgery. He completed his specialist training through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and holds a Master of Surgery from the University of Sydney.

Dr. Murugesan undertook sub-specialty training in Colorectal Surgery at two of the world’s leading centres — Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney and St James’s University Hospital in Leeds, United Kingdom — under the mentorship of several pre-eminent surgeons in the field. These formative years shaped his dedication to advancing techniques that minimise pain, hasten recovery, and restore quality of life.
